Here I Am
...and I promise much more frequent updates are to come...
Up very late tonight, which is a trend that started oh about seven and a half years ago at NIU. I got back only a little while ago from giving a spotter training talk almost out in South Dakota. It was enjoyable, as are all of them. However, on the heels of a six and a half hour drive back from the WGLC on Easter, it was a long two days. So this appropriately will be a short blog. Sorry my die hard followers...(Luke, 'Vis, Jamie)
Look for some blogs upcoming though. It likely won't be until this weekend as more spotter talks and evening shifts are on tap this week for MTF. It sounds like everyone else is very busy as well. Hopefully it's only a phase for all of us.
Most recently, the trip home to Mendota? One of the best trips home since I moved away. Thank you fam and friends. And was it sure assuring and rewarding to be back at school for a little while ... MHS and especially NIU. Some pics coming. Glad to be back in the 'sota though as we start to get Mother Nature fired up for severe weather season.
Freakiest moment home was Mom just naturally singing lyrics to "Apologize" by Timbaland. Just the irregular spelling of the group name indicates the thuggish-like nature of them. What has my sister taught her?
Quiet couple days weather-wise for the country before a possibly more active end of the week. More snow for Minnesota possibly! That's fine, the stang needs a workout.
From the 'sota to the 'dota, you all know how it goes. "mmmbooyah"
