May Days
Hey All,
Well I have been back in Minnesota for a few days, and as expected quite busy. To recap on the trip back to the 'Dota, simply put it was close to perfect. Started great by walking in the Moose seeing Sparky and Barb, then centered on my sis's prom and track meets, out for great times with Holzner, Miles, and Spark, and rounded out with an awesome convertible ride and somehow the Moose surprisingly one more time. Heath had a great time at her prom. I have a ton of pics, and if you want to see the page with them let me know. Here are a few pics from home ... a few nice ones while one not so much.

The mustang was no match for Mike's (Heath's date) car, a Prowler, as you can see. This blog's namesake, the Breeze, would have clearly been the wheels of choice though if she was still around.
A bit cool and a bit wet will continue to be the case the next five days or so. Severe weather chances in Minnesota and the northern half of IL look small. Paducah may get a bit shook up this weekend.
And in tribute of the four year anniversary today of when I graduated NIU, I will round out with quoting Bobby and Danno's text messages this past weekend ... "From the 'Sota to NIU to Chi-town to the 'Dota, ghost knucks, space pounds, and mmmbooyahs!" A valiant attempt at Mendota lingo boys!

In the bottom picture... who is the guy on the far right? I don't think I've ever seen him before.

Perhaps you'll remember me come the second weekend in August as I hastily throw a beer at you.

I can't believe that is the same little girl that used to come visit you on C1. She looked beautiful Matt. I hope you kept your eye on that young fella that escorted her to prom. I heard you went as a chaperon, hope you taught those little kiddies some sweet moves, did you request "the dip"??

I like intelligent women. When you go out, it shouldn't be a staring contest.

I will lay my bones by the Ganges that India might know there is one who cares.
