Five Years
Hello All,
Quick update here. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Sorry the weather is not cooperating for spring. Literally in Minnesota we have not had much spring-like weather. I have a hunch this year it may literally be straight to summer. I'm sure you all have heard about the ugly tornado outbreak on Saturday and into Sunday from MO/OK over to GA, and one of the more impressive setups I have seen. The total count for tornadoes this year in the U.S. is over 850, meaning the 2004 record of somewhere near 1900 tornadoes may be in jeopardy in 2008. The Ozarks and the southeast U.S. have seen most of them thus far.
On the weather and my personal front, it is hard to believe for me, but today marks five years for me being in the NWS. It has been an amazing time and I have been very lucky. I hope it continues. Eh, the shift work can be a bit tricky at times, but hey such shifts allow me weekdays like this to type a blog! Ha!
Next Breeze entry later this week, just before heading back to the 'dota, will have a top ten list of the sweetcornforecast.com users. That's right, I can track who's V.I.P. forecasts have been checked. You may be surprised who is #1? Even more surprising/disappointing may be who is not in the top 10?! That will come later this week. Better check your forecast many times the next few days if you want to try for #1 and recognition in the BREEEEEEZE!
