Top Ten Visitors to sweetcornforecast.com
Hello Weather-Lovers,
Well, let's get straight to it. I know I've had some curious people the past few days. Since this page has debuted a little over 9 months ago (just prior to the 60th annual Sweet Corn Festival), I have been able to track how many hits on all the pages. This includes the V.I.P. forecast pages. Now as is the case with all web sites, hits can be a bit misleading, but for the most part for the V.I.P. pages it should work.
The #1 user since August '07, with 965 visits to his V.I.P. forecast page (near 4 a day), is a fan of not just weather but science in general. He's a madman doctoral engineer at the moment, tearing up central Illinois. But he realizes, even in the laboratory, atmospheric science can play an important role. Congrats to the #1 sweetcornforecast.com user, by a LARGE margin ... and one of the more weather saavy people I know ... he was once one half of the dream doubles team "The Freej" ... Scott "The Wuj" Wujek!
A few observations ...
Couples show up well in the top ten, accounting for 60%! That's right ... Wuj & Kim ... Scruff & Jamie ... and Luke & Sparky.
The not so greats ... Big D Man, Holzner, Miles, Jimmy, Peaches, MENGLER ... where are you at?! Only Bobby has somewhat of an excuse due to west coast weather being quiet, but still should have made more of a showing.
If the sis's visits are indeed biased towards her silly brother setting her home page to her forecast, then discounting her from the top ten puts my Mom in at the new ten spot. Same type of deal there. If she were out, then 'Vis would come in at 10. I'm sure there will be some corporate e-mail traffic about that!
Well ... now it is time for a HUGE trip to Illinois. One of the best trips home in the past eight years more than likely. I very well could see everybody on that top 10 list, and in all honesty should. The "not-so-greats" mentioned above ... I am planning on seeing all of them! And of course, the highlight of this trip home ... the sis receiving the diploma from the fine academic institution that is MHS!!!!
Now all of you reading this know how it we do it ... there is no QUOTA ... on Raz or SODA ... as we roll from the 'SOTA ... down to the 'DOTA!!! mmmmmmmmmmBOOYAH!

Not surprised to not see me in the top ten. Frequent visitor of The Breeze, not so much up on the weather, seeing as its on my homepage of my phone. Two and a half weeks until we turn The Todd into a man on the Minnesota trip. You better be ready for it Todd!!!
