Ridiculous Video
All,
A little under a month ago, there was an EF-5 Tornado to hit Parkersburg, IA during the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. This of course started a several week stretch of horror for Iowa. An EF-5 (EF stands for Enhanced Fujita) is extremely rare, with this being only the second one in the U.S. this decade. Basically it takes out everything. After opening that page, click Skip Intro (it's a bit overdone). You will then come to an interactive map. Pan your mouse over the camera icons. The ones most unbelievable are "Surveillance video inside the tornado" and "Video shows tornado hitting house". They are absolutely incredible and show the true power of a violent tornado. Unfortunately with an EF-5 Parkersburg was dealing with something where basements and lower-levels were even compromised. Ugly.
