Hello All,
   Yeah I'm running behind on the updates and I've heard about it from several of you.  Bobby, Luke, and others ... you have too much time on your hands!  So this will still be short.  Big news today is the sis starts school at NIU.  Move in went well I guess and she's been having a blast there.  I appreciate some of you offering assistance, namely Amy asking if you could take her to Molly's.  Considering that's a bar ... no.  Jimmy, I appreciate you willing to drive up from Evansville, IN to help, although your motives are seriously in question!
    Mendota's National Sweet Corn Festival ... the namesake of this web site once again occurred two weeks ago.  It was a fabulous SCF as is always the case!  One of the best?  You bet!  Attendance had to be near record give the perfect weather.  The pageant was a marthon, but an excellent one, and Heather did fantastic!  The beer garden was insane, namely on Saturday night.  Possibly the biggest crowd I've seen in there.  The food ... simply amazing.  Six Lion's Club corn dogs for the weekend for myself.  Anyone top that?  Anyone still alive if they did???  Some pics are below.  If you'd like to see more, let me know and I will send you the link.  Most of you should have already got it in e-mail.











   By the way, yes I am dressed like an ear of corn in a few of these.  Hey, picking out the Sweet Corn Festival wardrobe is a summer-long project!  Some of you were just simply jealous!
  
   The weekend after the Festival tends to be one of solemness and maybe even still recovery.  Not this year.  Off to Grand Rapids, MI for Danno's wedding.  What an amazing weekend!  From the pong, to the beautiful wedding, to the fro pictures, to the dance floor, to "the Bob" ... awesome!  A few pics below.  Want to see more, let me know:

Wish I had time to write more, but that will have to be for later.  Bobby in Minnesota this weekend for NIU kickoff which should be a thrill, then Kris's wedding!  Just what we needed is another wedding!  Scruff's bachelor party this weekend which I will be missing, but believe me you will be hearing from me!  Then September ... which may be coming together as an even more amazing month!  What a summer, huh?!
