Howdy All,
    Quick and random entry here. Week progressing fast. A couple last 70 degree days in the Cities were nice. A few severe thunderstorm warnings for some hail also wasn't terrible, as we head into the five month hiatus of such things. Severe weather reports from yesterday can be seen here.  Today's threat of severe weather has shifted into the lower Mississippi valley, but still Minnesota to Illinois should see some thunderstorms. A major blizzard will begin to unfold in the Dakotas. Some of the snow will wrap into Minnesota on Friday.
    Other things ... Election night was pretty crazy. My friend Funfs was down at the Obama rally, which had to be amazing given that speech. I'm fairly certain Funfs woke up hung over and unclothed Wednesday morning on the shores of Lake Michigan. Slim and I recapped the night over some text messages while he downed a few "Stones" late Tuesday night as he put it.  NIU got whipped last night by #17 Ball State on ESPN2.  I guess #17 for a reason.  Hey, Nov 14-17,  anything going on with anyone?  I have a little time.  And after a very long day at work yesterday, always nice to turn on the phone to two voicemails, a 25 second one from Holzner with nothing but Arnold quotes and a 35 second one from Bobby blaring the NIU fight song. Minnesota exhibition basketball game tonight I will be attending.  Should be fun.
