Hey folks,
   Hope all are very well and into the Holiday spirit.  The Sunday snow in IL was nice at least on the computer screens.  A lot of textbook things came into place for a good first snowstorm of the season there.  A map can be found here.  Ironically one of the higher totals was 7 inches near Bloomington.  Wowzers.  We are still waiting for the first "snowstorm" here.  For the third November in a row (maybe more), Mendota surpasses Minneapolis in snowfall.  And Mendota and much of Illinois will add to that total later Wednesday and into Wednesday night, as a few inches of snowfall are expected.
   A couple message excerpts I received on Sunday or Monday from Illinois ...

"My plane got delayed.  Thanks jerk!" ~ Luke. 

"The weather is a b**ch." ~ Holzner.

   Real nice gentlemen.  I hope you are very proud of yourselves.  Yeah.
   The same system led to severe weather in Flo'da on Sunday, which prevented the shuttle Endeavor from landing there and instead California.  As I've seen the past several years, almost all all major snowstorms in the Midwest have severe weather in the southeast U.S. at the same time.  If you are "unlucky" enough to not be in either area (like we were in Minnesota this past weekend), it offers plenty to distract you at work on the computer.
   Other than that, just rolling. Despite no snowstorms, Mother Nature has quite the grasp on me right now so just working aplenty like all you.  The Sis, the one they call Mini-Matt or Tiny-Todd, and her friend Caroline will make their debut in the Twin Cities in two and a half weeks.  Look out!  And we are going to see Michael "The Burner" Turner and his Falcons take on the Vikings.  Speaking of the Vikings, the smell left up here by that Chicago Bear defense has been quite putrid since Sunday night  (putrid -- quoth Guider reference to ND).
