March Mileage
Breezers,
Sorry about the delay, and doily noted Vujea. This will not be long though. Hope all are well and enjoying a brief warm-up this mid-week. That will end going into the weekend, and do so with snow up here and rain and snow in northern IL, mainly on Thursday up here and Thursday afternoon and night in northern IL.
Current seasonal snowfall stats for the big cities in our areas are:
Chicago: 48.5 in.
Grand Rapids: 104.5 in.
Minneapolis: 35.0 in.
Madison: 66.6 in.
Peoria: 26.3 in.
Rockford: 54.5 in.
Once again, south does not mean necessarily less snow this winter. Although Minneapolis climatologically has an active period upcoming the next month. "State basketball tournament snow" as they call it here. This will be my 4th March in Minneapolis, and I have yet to see one without a whopper of a snow storm. Brace yourself Stang!
The tornadoes in Oklahoma a couple weeks back made national news. The strongest one was rated an EF-4 on a scale of 0 to 5. More on that twister can be read here.
Other weather news, the Daytona 500 was rained out at the end, despite my prediction. The #2 SCF VIPers Scruff and Jamie were there to see it happen. Or, according to Slim, the #3 VIPers.
For those in the Ottawa, IL area on Saturday and have nothing going on, check out Stormapalooooooza!
Oh, and I must not forget, but a shoutout to the birthday boy today. He is a renowned man across the Tri-County area of the Illinois Valley. He has been referred to as many names, especially by some of you VIPers, but I prefer to just call him ... Miles. Happy Birthday Miles! 27 and counting! You are now the age of such noteworthy friends as Lucas and Shannon. I'll have a rum and coke for you tonight ... while listening to Dave Matthews ... and dancing foolishly. Leave him some love folks!!!

Vujea, look what you did... you begged for a post when Todd wasn't ready to post on now we get hit with that horrible picture you see above.
I think we learned a hard lesson here today.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MILES!! YOU'RE THE MAN! There have been no lessons learned here today...I'm simply posting to thank Todd for the "shout out" and because I've been placed on a six month probation. I know I don't visit the breeze nearly as much as I should, especially considering the hard work and effort Todd puts in to it, but has anyone considered the fact that maybe I don't like taking the time (required time no less) to punch in that garbage security code every time I want to post?! I mean, who's dignity are you trying to protect here, Todd? O'Brien's?!?! Believe me, the only thing O'Brien needs to be concerned with is not hitting double digits in restraining orders for the year by St. Patrick's Day....ironically a day celebrating the exact heritage O'Brien is an increasingly poor representation of. But I digress....I could easily go over the 3,000 character limit degrading O'Brien.....but thanks again for the post Todd. I actually remember the night that picture was taken very well. I was in a bar....drinking....surrounded by people I probably don't have much use for. i.e. Scruff....who needs to be taught a hard lesson himself. Take care all!

Yikes! 'Vis you may be right about banning him for six months! Largest post I've seen yet. Lessons are being learned the hard way here.
OB, I know you are a reader, any thoughts about your heritage???

I'd comment on the picture, but my work's firewall blocks it. Whatever dirty weather pictures are being posted on this site, my work's firewall administrator is not a fan.

Hi all
can anyone advice me?
I would like an absolutely free MMORPG that has a number of players plus they (perfectly many) can converse English. It is necessary that the actual servers have a large amount of gamers. I'm seeking out something like Diablo and World of warcraft. I am as well not willing to give any cash as I simply have a little extra time to kill right away. It's alright if the particular game is free with premium content. I've looked a lot for MMORPGs but none from the web sites basically say how much people tend to be on-line.
thank you
