Indian Summer No More, a Fly By, and a Perennial Wedding Date

Breezers,
Quick update here.  One of the coolest and wettest Octobers on record continues in the Midwest.  More rain/snow today for Minnesota and rain in Illinois.  The harvest is terribly delayed from ND to AR, including MN and IL.   The wet pattern will continue through the end of October, with precipitation-making weather systems every 48-60 hours it appears.  Unbelievable pattern for this long in October.  In Minneapolis, we will likely be in the ten wettest by the end of today.  We presently rank the 7th coolest October, with nothing but cold weather through the end of the month.  The average temperature has been 43 degrees.  This comes after a September which had an average near 67 degrees!  Amazing!

News...well, not sure if any of you saw this, but an NWA-Delta flight from San Diego to Minneapolis on Wednesday evening overshot Minneapolis by nearly 150 miles!  WTF MTF?!  Supposedly it was due to an argument in the cockpit that amazingly prevented them from hearing air traffic control or the ILS instruments!  I am not so sure about that.   Thankfully they began chatting with air traffic control soon enough to prevent fighters from scrambling to escort the unresponsive aircraft.  Needless to say, the pilot and co-pilot are suspended.  Read more here:  www.cnn.com/2009/TRAVEL/10/22/airliner.fly.by/index.html

That's about all from me.  Oh, and if you think you are Sparky's wedding date for the next wedding...you best think again:

That looks like a Luke or Miles desktop background.  Maybe Bobby since you're such a fan of Sparky and have yet to meet the Moose man!

Oh and new season of StormChasers on Discovery Channel.  Anyone watch this, besides Roop?

See you on that wedding dance floor, from the 'SOTA to the 'DOTA...a Sparky style mmmbooyah!
MTF
